The QuickDock enables me to plug all of my cables into this one device, so that when I want to unhook my laptop and run to the coffee shop, I only have to unplug a single cable and I'm out the door. Must have item for a busy laptop user.

Strengths:	If you are lazy and want to reduce all of your peripheral connections to your laptop to just one cable, then this is your device. It can accept internet, external monitor, 6 USB devices, speakers, etc.
Weaknesses:	There is no DVI out. It really is not worth paying over 50 bucks just for convenience.

I would suggest this item to people who wanted a "desktop feel" to their laptop. You can connect a keyboard, mouse, speakers, external monitor, printer, scanner, internet, and everything else to your laptop with this one connection and it feels like you are on a desktop. Make sure you have an Expansion port 3, not 2, to make sure you can use all of the features.

This docking station is perfect. It is fully compatible with my HP laptop and has all of the connections that I require. As it doesn't come with its own power cord, you have to use your laptop's power cord with it. It would have been more convenient if it came with its own.

It makes it very easy to attach all peripherals with just one connection. It would be even easier if you didn't also have to unplug the power cord each time because it doesn't come with it's own power cord. I use this with a Tx1000 series notebook and all options of the dock work with this model.

I am really glad I purchased this item. It works great with my computer and saves me lots of time connecting up the keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc. The quick connect is solidly built and works effortlessly. Highly recommend!!!
